Organization & Role

The Teradyne Operations team is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic, driven Planner to focus on material plans that support our customers with on time delivery. The Planner must be a driven problem solver to support customer requests, and project plans while working to reduce lead-time and cost. The planner must ensure that plans are met while working to minimize excess and obsolescence. The planner must be a strong communicator to describe a material plan that supports the customer and describe the costs and risks to do so to Senior Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall flow of service materials worldwide to support Teradyne's Install Bases
• Ensure stocks are in the right local stocking centers & on time delivery goals are met
• Review and analyze volume forecasts, the service materials requirements, execute necessary purchases including Last Time Buys
• Product Support Analysis
• Repair Scheduling & Capacity Alignment with Repair
• Address customer inquiries through PartsOrder & provide on time feedback & updates
• Provides RCCA on late shipments
• Works closely with PROGs & other worldwide Cross Functional Teams (FSE,Engg,PSG,Logistics,PartsO, Project Managers & others) on related matters
• Performs other tasks that maybe assigned to him/her
  
  

Basic Qualifications & Skills

• Preferably a Graduate of BS Industrial Engr, BS Statistics or its equivalent.
• 2-3 Years Planning Experience
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Excel & Access
• With high sense of urgency, well-organized & inquisitive
• Excellent communication & teamwork skills
• Can interface with the different level of positions in the organization worldwide
• Willing to work on shifting schedules as the need arises
