- Innovation and Development of Sustainable AML Technology Programs
- Drive strategies and initiatives to innovate and develop sustainable AML technology solutions that enhance system performance and operational effectiveness.
- Proactively adapt AML technology programs to evolving business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Systems Enablement and Optimization
- Lead the development and enhancement of AML systems to support scalable and sustainable operations aligning with evolving business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Assess and implement innovative AML technologies and tools to drive continuous enhancement of overall system capabilities.
- Process Enhancement and User Enablement
- Drive process optimization initiatives to enhance and streamline workflows, user experience, and overall operational efficiency.
- Data Integration and Infrastructure Management
- Provide strategic insights across data integration initiatives and collaborate with Technology and Data Teams to establish robust data pipelines, controls, and standards to support accurate and timely operational and analytical data requirements across AML Intelligence pillars.
- Design and Implementation of Robust AML Detection Framework
- Proactively develop and govern the AML detection framework to identify potential risks, strengthen monitoring capabilities, and meet regulatory requirements.
- Reporting and Analytics
- Design robust reporting and analytical framework that supports regulatory, operational, and management reporting, enabling stakeholders to generate actionable insights to drive decision making.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and partners from Risk and Compliance, Product, Technology, Data Governance, and Data Science to align AML technology initiatives with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.
- Compliance and Security Standards
- Oversee AML compliance and security frameworks, ensuring consistent compliance of all AML systems and processes to regulatory requirements, security standards, and organizational policies and frameworks.
- Drive data governance to ensure data integrity and regulatory audit readiness throughout AML processes.
- Make sound business decisions within functional scope, proactively propose and drive improvements, and manage tasks independently

- Experienced project/program management or end-to-end delivery of AML technology initiatives
- Strong understanding and knowledge of AML principles, processes, and regulatory requirements, hands-on experience or familiarity with AML systems/tools and AI/ML concepts, and their applications in AML to support innovation, automation, and analytics
- Highly skilled in agile, change management, and governance practices
- Solid business and product understanding, with ability to connect business and regulatory requirements to technical solutions
- Excellent aptitude for research, problem solving, technical, and analytical skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for conveying business, technical, and program insights to stakeholders across AML, Risk, Compliance, Product, and Technology teams
- Methodical approach with high attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in cross-functional AML initiatives, including requirements gathering, systems implementation, process optimization, or detection framework development
- Operational experience in AML systems and processes, data analysis, reporting, and generating actionable insights to support AML programs
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Tableau is required. Other analytics or visualization tools such as Python are a plus.
- Preferably from the Financial Technology/Service, Banking, or Technology industries
- Professional AML certification (ACAMS, ICA, etc.) is a plus
- Professional project/program management certification (Lean Six Sigma, etc.) is a plus
