Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced IT professional to lead the planning, implementation, and management of our Enterprise Applications and IT systems. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving digitalization, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting strategic decision-making across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plans, implements, manages, and controls the development or acquisition, installation, maintenance and enhancement of Enterprise Applications, software, and relevant IT systems that support the business operations of the company.
- Provides reliable and timely information for Enterprise Application Systems operations as well as for planning and decision-making.
- Ensures the availability and restoration of the respective IT services in accordance to expected levels and business requirements.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Directs and controls the planning, evaluation and recommendation for the digitalization requirements of the company in coordination with users to enhance the department's productivity and efficiency and defines the system architecture.
- Directs and controls the development, design, programming, testing, user acceptance and implementation of new applications and modifications or enhancements of implemented systems.
- Directs and controls the testing, procedures and schedules of application's version upgrades.
- Directs, monitors and controls the IT Helpdesk operations and/or the coordination with Software Vendor Support regarding systems troubleshooting and required fixes or enhancements.
- Assesses and analyzes the performance of all computer applications in use through user surveys and initiates measures to improve where necessary.
- Plans and manages the capital and operating expense budget requirements in the implementation of the Division's plans and programs and ensures adherence to approved budget.
- Plans, organizes, implements and controls the resources and operating environment of the division to ensure that the results are within the set standards and objectives.
- Assesses and analyzes performance against the set standards and objectives of the division to be able to determine and improve organizational effectiveness by identifying and anticipating problems and effecting remedial and preventive measures.
- Motivates, communicates, delegates and leads to get action and results from subordinates in order to achieve the division's goals and objectives.
- Plans and determines the manpower requirements of the division.
- Develops, initiates, recommends and implements manpower development programs that are geared towards the improvement and enhancements of subordinates' knowledge, skills, values and attitudes
- Enforces the highest standards of discipline and deportment of his personnel while maintaining the interpersonal relationship and their morale towards the accomplishment of their function.
- Plans, develops, coordinates and implements company safety, housekeeping and occupational health programs.
- Plans, develops and implements Crisis Management Program in order to pre-empt or minimize disruptions in operations as well as losses and inconvenience to customers
- Performs other related duties as may be directed by the VP-Information Technology Department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in IT management, enterprise applications, or systems administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise application systems, software development lifecycle, and IT infrastructure management.
- Proven experience in planning, implementing, and managing digitalization or IT transformation projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team while maintaining high performance and morale.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage budgets, resources, and projects effectively, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Knowledge of safety, occupational health, and crisis management in an IT or corporate environment is an advantage.
- Proactive, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
