    Role : Coder III - IP Simple (SDS/OBS) Active 1Location : McKinley, Taguig City / Onsite / Hybrid/ RemoteShift : Day ShiftJob Description :Responsibilities :
    • Responsible for assigning diagnostic and procedural codes (same-day-surgery and observation) to patient charts, of low to moderate complexity
    • Responsible for coding using ICD-10-ICM, CPT and HCPCS or any designated coding classification
    • system in accordance with coding rules and regulations
    • Responsible in abiding the Standards of Ethical Coding as set forth by AHIMA
    • The OP Coder is also responsible for abstracting clinical and other data elements into the medical record.
    Qualifications :
    • Bachelors' Degree or any equivalent related experience is required for the role
    • At least 1 year of experience performing same-day-surgery and/or observation medical record coding
    • Active AHIMA or AAPC approved credential is REQUIRED for the role
