About the role:
Yondu Inc. is seeking an accomplished Data Analyst to join our team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a Data Analyst (PowerBI and SQL), you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data insights to drive strategic decision-making and business growth for our organisation. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art data analysis tools and contribute to the success of our thriving Information & Communication Technology company.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop and maintain high-performing data models and dashboards using PowerBI
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyse data from various sources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and translate business needs into actionable insights
- Proactively identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to generate meaningful insights and recommendations
- Assist in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures
- Continuously enhance data visualisation techniques to improve data-driven decision-making
- Provide training and support to end-users on data analysis tools and methodologies
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
- Proficient in SQL, including writing complex queries and stored procedures
- Demonstrable expertise in data visualisation and dashboard creation using PowerBI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience in data mining, data modelling, and data warehousing techniques
- Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices
