Senior Finance Specialist

The Senior Finance Specialist serves as a key generalist within the finance department, overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of financial transactions and reporting. This role requires a seasoned professional who can manage high-level accounting functions while ensuring the integrity of the AP/AR (Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable) processes to maintain the organization's healthy cash flow and financial standing.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle AP/AR Management: Oversee the entire Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process, ensuring timely billing, collections, and vendor payments.
General Ledger Oversight: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and categorized.
Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
Reconciliation: Perform complex bank and intercompany reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and provide periodic variance analysis to track company performance.
Compliance & Audit: Ensure all financial activities comply with local regulations and internal policies; coordinate with external auditors during year-end reviews.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial workflows and implement best practices for data accuracy.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for complex financial inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal department heads.

Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field is required.
Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Quickbooks, Odoo or NetSuite) and expert-level Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience: Proven experience as a Finance Generalist with a strong emphasis on AP/AR management.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Detail-Oriented: Exceptional accuracy in data management and financial documentation.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time

Salary Range: ₱25,000 - ₱28,000 per month
