    Role description:

    The Commercial Enablement Development Lead/Manager is responsible for supporting the Global CE Director in overseeing the operations of the Commercial Enablement (CE) team in GSSC. Their primary job is to assist with managing the day-to-day activities of CE within GSSC and the Growth function, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.

    The Development Lead is responsible for ensuring that the workstream meets established service levels agreed upon with stakeholders, as well as ensuring that the team is adequately staffed, trained, and equipped to deliver services efficiently.

    Other key responsibilities of the Development Lead include working with the workstream teams and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization and developing and maintaining appropriate service level agreements (SLAs) tailored to specific client needs.

    Role accountabilities:

    • Operations management: Support the Director in overseeing all operational aspects of the Commercial Enablement Team, including budgeting, resource allocation, and service delivery. Provides substantive inputs to the preparation of the annual planning, helping coordinate with local relevant groups in the Enabling Function to ensure alignment with corporate priorities.
    • Process improvement: Collaborate with the Global CE Director and other stakeholders (e.g. Business Process Owners and Experts) to continuously review and improve the workstream's processes, ensuring that they are efficient and effective in meeting the needs of the organization.
    • Customer service: Collaborate with the Global CE Director in partnership with the CE workstream functions and the BPOs in ensuring that the teams deliver a high level of customer service to its internal customers, addressing any issues or concerns that arise in a timely and effective manner.
    • Risk management: Support the Global CE Director in identifying and managing risks associated with the shared services centre's operations, ensuring that appropriate controls are in place to mitigate potential risks.
    • Talent management: Collaborate with the Global CE Director and the different workstream leaders in recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team of professionals, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
    • Stakeholder management: Collaborate with the Global CE Director in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
    • Compliance: Collaborate with the Global CE Director in ensuring that the shared services centre operates in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies, and that all required reporting is accurate and timely.
    • Alignment: Ensures that alignment of projects, program, and initiatives across all CE workstream function teams happen, and are implemented within approved timeline.
    • Adhoc: Performs other workstream-related tasks for the CE workstream; may stand-in for GSSC-related decisions/tasks for the CE service delivery manager.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Strong facilitation and leadership skills: bringing multiple stakeholders from broad backgrounds and positions together towards defined outcomes;
    • Ability to develop a plan and approach to strategic problems - communicating and mobilizing teams to deliver against the plan;
    • Self-starter, can work independently and remotely and comfortable with ambiguity;
    • Ability to make a difference on a broad range of topics by bringing rigor and structure;
    • Communication and relationship skills, ability to engage with a broad range of international stakeholders;
    • Command of one or several of the specific skill-sets is a plus (e.g. project performance, project controls, reporting/business planning); 2
    • Understanding of the Arcadis global strategy and areas of activity;
    • Ability to work in an international network organization;
    • Ability to deal with different cultures worldwide or willing to learn this;
    • Proactive, practical, entrepreneurial, open-minded, flexible and creative;
    • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
