    Job Title: Accountant Assistant

    Company: Financial Solutions Inc.




    Main Responsibilities:
    • Perform bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and analysis, including Cash Reconciliation, Cash-Flow Movements, and Account Payable Aging
    • Validate supplier invoices against approved Purchase Orders (POs), contracts, or other supporting documents
    • Prepare checks and Letter of Authority (LOA) for suppliers, employees, government remittances, and other bank transfer transactions promptly
    • Maintain fixed asset and inventory register and participate in the periodic physical count
    • Handle supplier accreditation and gather necessary requirements following Supplier Management Procedures
    • Submit monthly reports like Regulatory Reports, Withholding Taxes, VAT filings, accruals, prepayments, and Expenses Schedules
    • Assist in the preparation/submission of audit requirements during the annual financial statement audit
    • Liaise with suppliers, Equicom Bank, auditors, other Departments, and stakeholders
    • Maintain proper file archiving and perform other ad-hoc tasks as required



    Qualifications for the Position:
    • Candidate must hold at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, Commerce, or equivalent
    • Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
    • Capable of handling pressure, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
    • Familiarity with BIR and other statutory requirements
    • Proficient in computer skills, especially MS Excel basic formulas such as Vlookup, Pivot, etc.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Analytical with keen attention to detail
