- Develop and manage seasonal and peak manpower plans aligned with production, harvest, and packing requirements
- Coordinate manpower requirements with Operations, Supply Planning, and labor agencies
- Monitor manpower availability, absenteeism, overtime, and utilization efficiency
- Anticipate manpower risks during peak periods and propose mitigation plans
- Act as the focal HR authority for discipline cases, grievances, and employee relations issues
- Ensure consistent application of company rules, due process, and progressive discipline
- Coach supervisors and managers in proper handling and documentation of cases
- Participate in hearings, investigations, and dispute resolution as required
- Manage HR-related aspects of labor agencies and third-party service providers supporting MD2 operations
- Monitor compliance with labor laws, company policies, and contract terms
- Evaluate agency performance based on manpower quality, reliability, and compliance
- Coordinate corrective actions or changes in providers when performance gaps are identified
- Support development of people-management capability among supervisors and operations managers
- Facilitate or support field-based learning, coaching, and on-the-job training initiatives
- Identify leadership and discipline gaps and recommend development interventions
- Partner with Operations in building accountability and people leadership culture
- Support cascading of MD2 operational targets into individual and team KPIs
- Ensure performance management processes are fairly and consistently applied
- Advise managers on managing low performers and recognizing strong contributors
- Support succession and readiness discussions for critical operational roles
- Ensure MD2 Operations compliance with labor laws, company policies, and certification requirements
- Lead preparation for labor-related audits and closure of findings and corrective actions
- Identify workforce-related risks (manpower, discipline, compliance) and propose mitigation plans
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and governance purposes
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics such as absenteeism, attrition, discipline trends, and manpower productivity
- Provide regular HR reports and insights to MD2 leadership and HR governance forums
- Support implementation or improvement of HR systems and process automation relevant to MD2 operations
- At least 10 years HR experience, with significant exposure to operations-heavy environments
- Minimum 5 years in an HR Business Partner or HR Manager role
- Experience handling large regular workforce and third-party service providers, labor relations, and discipline cases
- Strong business and operational understanding
- High level of integrity and sound judgment
- Firm but fair approach in people decisions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and during peak operations
