Job summary
The Restaurant Cashier is responsible for managing all front-end financial transactions including processing customer orders accepting payments and reconciling the cash drawer.Responsibilities
- Transaction Management: Accurately input orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system confirm special requests or dietary restrictions with the kitchen Handle cash credit debit cards and mobile payments Issue receipts process refunds exchanges according to policy manage redemption of gift cards coupons or loyalty points Balance the cash drawer at start end every shift report any discrepancies immediately to management.
