The Accounts Payable Supervisor assists the Accounts Payable Manager in overseeing the Accounts Payable Department to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. This role involves managing daily operations improving processes ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting principles.

This role directly reports to the Accounts Payable Manager..

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead Accounting Assistants Specialist under Accounts Payables Disbursements Team Assign review tasks ensure efficiency accuracy processing invoices payments.
  • Oversee receipt verification processing invoices ensuring matched purchase orders receiving documents Manage approval workflow for invoices ensure timely payments vendors.
  • Supervise preparation execution payment runs including checks electronic transfers wire transfers Ensure payments made accordance payment terms company policies Conduct regular reconciliations accounts payable ledgers discrepancies resolved promptly Review reconcile vendor statements accuracy Ensure compliance relevant accounting standards regulations company policies Stay updated regulatory changes department's compliance financial regulations Coordinate external auditors documentation support Act point contact vendor inquiries resolve issues related payments accounts Develop maintain positive relationships vendors internal stakeholders Identify opportunities streamline improve account payable processes Implement best practices enhance efficiency accuracy Assist Accountant develop standard operating procedures account function.
