- Collect and analyze data from sales, project teams, and other stakeholders to develop optimal design solutions.
- Use insights to refine designs for cost, efficiency, and manufacturability.
- Create detailed drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOM) using CAD software and Excel.
- Maintain accurate documentation to ensure seamless knowledge transfer and project execution.
- Ensure all designs adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Perform necessary checks to guarantee safety, durability, and functionality.
- Work closely with sales, engineers, designers, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Communicate design concepts, technical specifications, and findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and trends in the design and engineering industry.
- Proactively suggest improvements to design processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
- Display knowledge of drafting principles, practices, methods and techniques.
- Knowledgeable in Autocad or its equivalent engineering software
- 3-5 years' experience in 3D modeling software with the use of AUTODESK CAD and 3DS MAX is desired.
- Experience with steel construction or related field is desired.
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft office.
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft VBA / C++ programming is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD,) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to racking or structural design.
- Prior experience in system design, racking, or similar engineering projects is a plus.
