    Training: One hundred twenty (120) hours of supervisory/management learning and development intervention

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Subject to executive determination of policy plans, directs, coordinates and supervises the administrative and technical activities of the Bureau responsible in carrying out planning and program implementation, projects, and activities provides assistance to the management in ensuring that the resources of the Commission are managed efficiently, economically and
    effectively and does related work.

    Functions and Responsibilities:

    1.Operationalize a focused approach in the development, implementation and management of senior citizens programs and services

    2.Provide leadership in orchestrating the effective implementation of senior citizens programs through various strategies and approaches

    3.Facilitate convergence efforts in coordination and collaboration with other Bureaus/Services/Offices (B/S/O's), line agencies, and other concerned offices and agencies

    4.Provide technical assistance and resource augmentation to local government units (LGUs), non-government organizations (NGOs), civil society organization (CSOs) and other partners/ stakeholders

    5.Ensure quality assurance, responsive and efficient implementation of programs, projects, and services for the senior citizens, as prescribed by laws

    6.Achieve transparency, accountability, expediency and integrity in the formulation and enforcement of policies, standards and guidelines

    7.Set standards for the registration and licensing of facilities, and accreditation of programs and services of senior citizens welfare and development agencies (SCWDAs) and service providers implementing programs and services for the senior citizens

    8.Enhance program quality and standards and develop corresponding policy guidelines for the senior citizens

    9.Administer Oath of Office of employees concerned in the Bureau and

    10.Perform other related functions which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
