    Role Purpose :

    Co-ordinate, manage and undertake road safety training of transportation and soft services providers.

    Key Accountabilities & Activities :

    • Prepare and present approved transport related training presentations for transportation contractor partners and NEOM senior management.
    • Undertake driver assessments, vehicle examinations, assessment of vehicle faults, highlight and report transport safety issues to immediate line manager.
    • Assist Fleet Risk & Road Safety Management with any vehicle accident investigations where required.
    • Assist with the monitoring of Fleet Preventative Maintenance Plans.
    • Knowledge of Hybrid vehicle systems.
    • Assist in preparation and presentation of transportation and community risk assessments.
    • Undertake training audits.
    • Update training matrix with accurate data.
    • Prepare high level reports and presentations via Microsoft Office pc packages.
    • Other duties as directed.

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience :

    • 5+ years' experience of transportation health and safety.
    • 5+ years' experience of training topic preparation and course delivery.
    • 5+ years of transportation industry experience.
    • 10+ years driving experience.
    • Experienced vehicle examiner. (Government vehicle examiner/former Traffic Police/qualified
    • mechanic)
    • In-depth knowledge of vehicle safety systems.
    • Experienced and current advanced driver. (Former Police or Military Advanced driver preferred)
    • Knowledge of all types of road vehicles.
    • Experienced in Risk Assessment preparation and undertaking.
    • Advanced Microsoft Office package skills (essential) in Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
    • Extensive high-level report writing experience.
    • Fluent in written and oral English (Essential) and Arabic (Desirable)

    Qualifications :

    • NEBOSH or IOSH H&S qualification (Essential) (NEBOSH preferred)
    • Vehicle examiner or mechanical technician qualification. (Preferred)
    • Recognized Training qualification. (Preferred)
    • ROSPA or IAM 'Gold' or 'Silver' Advanced driver qualification. (Essential)
    • Valid driver's license. (Essential)
