We are seeking a Logistics Operations and Vendor Coordinator VA to assist with daily shipping, receiving, and vendor management. This role involves scheduling deliveries, comparing shipping rates, updating records in the ERP system, and ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
– Coordinate and confirm pickup and delivery schedules
– Communicate with freight partners to compare shipping rates and select the best routes
– Record inbound and outbound shipments in the ERP and maintain accurate audit trails
– Track inventory and verify shipment documents prior to dispatch
– Identify any shipping issues, escalate as necessary, and keep all stakeholders updated
Mandatory Skills:
– Strong coordination skills and attention to detail
– Experience with spreadsheets and business system data entry
– Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
– Excellent time management and organizational skills
– Knowledge of logistics software and transportation management systems (TMS)
– Ability to handle time-sensitive logistics and solve problems efficiently
Preferred Skills:
– Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or fulfillment roles
– Familiarity with ERP platforms like NetSuite
– Understanding of US shipping standards and basic cost comparisons
– Knowledge of international shipping rules and compliance
– Experience using rate comparison tools and shipment tracking systems
