    Job Summary

    We are seeking a seasoned Accounting Manager to oversee and manage our general accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with experience in supervisory roles.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, taxes, and payroll.
    • Assist with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and annual corporate financial controls audit.
    • Assess current practices and procedures, and recommend improvements.
    • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
    • Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions.
    • Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.
    • Maintain the general ledger system.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; assist with regulatory reporting as applicable.
    • Research accounting issues for compliance with GAAP.
    • Coordinate the budget process.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a portion in a supervisory role.
    • Thorough knowledge of Philippine GAAP.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization.
    • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
    • Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with other financial systems.

    Working Conditions

    Willing to work onsite from Monday – Friday.
