- Take ownership of the operation, and optimization of enterprise-grade datacenter infrastructures (compute, virtualization, storage, backup)
- Plan and implement complex changes across customer environments
- Triage and classification of cyber security incidents based on severity, including initiation of appropriate response measures.
- Close collaboration with our Blue Team as part of Tier 1 SOC operations for our MDR (Managed Detection & Response) customers.
- Respond to high-level escalations, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve critical platform issues with a calm and analytical approach.
- Collaborate with international teams and contribute to process improvements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with NetApp storage, Cisco compute, VMware virtualization and Veeam backup
- NCDA or VCP-VVF certification (or equivalent expertise) is strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise service delivery (e.g. ServiceNow)
- Strong sense of ownership, service orientation, and technical leadership
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- German language skills are a strong plus but not required (Many Swiss based customers)
- A collaborative mindset, comfortable working with global teams
- Impeccable record of conduct and professional integrity including a clear criminal record background check and credit check
