Role Summary
A senior credit leadership role responsible for portfolio governance, risk oversight, and quality assurance of commercial credit proposals. The role ensures disciplined credit evaluation, regulatory adherence, and strong coordination with credit committees and lending units.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct second-level review of commercial and branch credit proposals
- Maintain portfolio oversight and ensure accurate risk rating and classification
- Lead timely monitoring of financial performance and challenged accounts
- Manage performance, training, and development of credit teams
- Coordinate with Law, Operations, and relevant units for proposal clarifications
- Supervise preparation of Credit Committee and Board agenda materials
- Certify credit line confirmations and standby letters of credit
- Initiate policy enhancements and operational improvements
Requirements
- 10+ years experience in commercial/middle-market lending
- Strong background in credit structuring, financial analysis, and risk governance
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or division leadership role
- Experience presenting to senior credit committees
- Chinese language proficiency preferred
