Job Description:
We are looking for a dependable and disciplined Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring timely delivery of products and retrieval of empty containers in assigned areas. The position requires strong driving skills, a sense of responsibility, and coordination with sales and warehouse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive route trucks for delivery and collection
- Load/unload full products and retrieve empties
- Secure and turn over sales invoices and payments
- Remit daily collections to cashier with proper documentation
- Assist in basic merchandising (stock display, poster placement)
- Perform BLOWBAGETS truck inspections before routing
- Submit reports to TDS and Settlement Analyst post-routing
- Report vehicle concerns and coordinate repairs
- Support warehouse with stock loading for next-day deliveries
Qualifications:
- High School graduate with diploma
- Holder of a Professional Driver's license (Codes 1, 2 & 3 or ABC)
- Knowledge of traffic rules, routes, and basic troubleshooting
- Familiarity with local delivery areas and alternate routes
- Strong work ethic, urgency, initiative, and discipline
- Ability to follow handheld routing procedures
