Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading airline company. The IT Project Management Director will provide overall strategic governance for projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools used for effective project delivery. This role is on a hybrid work set-up and will be reporting to the CIO.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Establish methodologies to set productivity and quality targets to assess the results of the different projects.
• Address and resolve project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions.
• Develop and direct project management operations and strategic planning to meet organizational goals.
• Provide overall strategic governance for projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools used for effective project delivery.
• Supervise and analyze project metrics to identify weaknesses or problems to propose operational improvements and cost savings for future projects.
• Work with the Solutions Delivery team in the project deliveries and implementation.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• At least 15 years of work experience at the Project Management level.
• Must be from the aviation industry.
• Minimum of 10 years of managing a high-level team.
• Minimum of 10 years of agile project management experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of project delivery and implementation experience.
• Superior organizational and time management skills for effective planning and execution of objectives.
• Strong sense of self-motivation and professional responsibility.
• Ability to work under pressure.
