Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily farm operations, including feeding, watering, and monitoring flock health.
- Support biosecurity and hygiene measures to ensure disease prevention.
- Learn and participate in vaccination, medication, and health management programs.
- Monitor growth rates, feed consumption, and overall productivity of the flock.
- Maintain accurate records of production, mortality, feed usage, and other operational data.
- Assist in managing farm resources, equipment, and supplies.
- Collaborate with senior farm managers on improving operational efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in farm audits and compliance checks with safety and environmental standards.
- Learn about poultry breeding, hatchery management, and quality control processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Poultry Science, or related fields.
- Strong interest in poultry farming and agribusiness operations.
- Willingness to work in farm environments and flexible work hours, including weekends and early mornings.
- Basic understanding of animal husbandry and farm management principles is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
