As an Accountant, you will be responsible for performing essential period close tasks, which encompass preparing journal entries, managing accruals, and meticulously reviewing both Profit and Loss (P&L) accounts and balance sheet account reconciliations.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent relevant work related experience required
  
• One year of Accounting, Reporting, and Analysis/related work experience required
  
• Proficient personal computer skills including Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel)
  
• Proficient with ERP systems, most especially Sage/ACCPAC
  

• Perform period close tasks including journal entry preparation, accruals, review of P&L accounts and balance sheet accounts reconciliation
  
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements
  
• Provide analytical accounting support by performing analysis of financial information
  
• Prepare schedules required for statutory audit and compliance reporting
  
• Prepare information required for income and sales tax returns
  
• Perform other duties assigned by management
