PRIMARY JOB ROLE

As a CASHIER, you are responsible for processing the client's payment to complete the sale transaction. As one of the key persons in the store operations, you are in charge of providing a luxurious lifestyle experience to clients consistent with the brand image. You will attend to each client with care and professionalism.

YOU WILL

• Process the payment of the client, whether cash or card, to complete the sale transaction in close coordination with the attending Sales Associate.
• Ensure the accuracy of the price tag and product description before processing the payment to avoid discrepancies.
• Maintain the smooth operations of the Point of Sales (POS) system and liaise with the IT department in case of system failure.
• Prepare Cashier Transaction Report (CTR), OR monitoring report, and sales report daily and monthly or as needed.
• Responsible for the daily reconciliation of cash, debit/credit card receipts, and communication of all sales and cash control issues with the Boutique Manager or to the store-in-charge.
• Coordinate with banks for transaction-related concerns such as cash deposits and the use of credit cards.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of the different bank promotions and their proper execution.
• Facilitate the issuance of credit memos, debit memos, and exchanged item forms with strict adherence to the store policies.
• In charge of recording the daily entries on the BIR Books of Accounts and ensuring the accuracy of the details.
• Responsible for handling change fund, petty cash, and monitoring store supplies and expenses.
• Ensure the upkeep of the counter area, including the devices and replenishment of cashiering-related supplies.
• Maintain a systematic filing of government registration documents inside the store.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE

• A graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in any field
• At least 2-5 years of background in a Cashier role in the retail industry.
• Has solid Microsoft Office applications skills
• Knowledgeable of POS, debit-credit transactions, installments, and cheques.
• Systematic and detail-oriented
• Has the ability to multi-task and can work in a timely manner.
