We are looking for a talented full-stack programmer experienced in functional
programming who wants to work in a fast-paced industry like
blockchain/cryptocurrency using the most innovative software methods. Elbaite's
back-end is entirely run-on functional Elixir, and we are looking for our newest in-house
back-end developer that is also open to contributing to the full stack.

Candidate skills:
At heart, you're a problem solver. When solving a problem, you analyse the full picture
impact.

• Mid-level programming experience.
• Has at least 2 years of experience developing with a functional programming

language (Elixir, erlang, Haskell or others)

• Keen to create high-performance, low-latency designs
• Curious to learn and comfortable discussing/exploring complex technical ideas
• Deeply passionate about technology, particularly software development, and

have your own out-of-classroom projects or extra-curricular activities to prove it

• Bonus if you are skilled in: React front-end development, AWS, DevOps. Please

make sure to highlight in your application that you have these skills if you do have
them

What you'll work on
Elbaite is at the forefront of Blockchain and cryptocurrency innovation. Engineers at
Elbaite take ownership of the full stack in tackling the problem. You will be working on a
wide variety of technical activities. This may include;

• creating new features to increase the useability of Elbaite
• improve infrastructure, performance or security of the system.
• Work with our marketing team, compliance team and sales team to come up with

solutions to solve their issues
We work in an agile way using weekly sprints and mini-projects.
