Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Accounting Manager
to lead day-to-day accounting operations for U.S.-based clients. This position focuses on delivering accurate financials, maintaining U.S. tax compliance, and managing a distributed accounting team. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and confident working directly with clients while supervising remote staff.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Handle end-to-end
U.S. bookkeeping and accounting
for multiple client accounts - Monitor and review
general ledger activity, reconciliations, and financial statements - Ensure all work meets
U.S. tax and reporting standards - Review team output and provide feedback to maintain quality and consistency
- Coach and support remote accountants to meet performance expectations
- Act as the primary accounting contact for assigned clients
- Deliver accurate
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports - Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve workflows
- Support client onboarding and ongoing service improvements
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years
of professional accounting experience - Solid background in
U.S. accounting and bookkeeping - Experience supporting
small to mid-sized U.S. businesses - QuickBooks expertise required
- Prior experience leading, supervising, or reviewing the work of accountants
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Fluent English communication skills (
C2 level
)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Remote Setup Requirements
- Stable, high-speed internet connection
- Quiet and dedicated work-from-home environment
- Dual monitors strongly preferred
