    Job Overview

    The revenue management associate will be responsible for maximizing revenue and profit by developing and implementing effective inventory and pricing strategies based on future demand forecasts, current trends, and historical data. The ideal candidate will be someone who can determine the optimal mix of strategies to increase revenue and drive market share.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Conduct market research on various distribution channels and report findings accurately 
    • Monitor market trends and implement new pricing strategies to maximize revenue 
    • Work closely with other departments to develop and carry out joint projects
    • Conduct audits of distribution channels to ensure accurate information
    • Take ownership and drive property performance within your portfolio
    • Develop relationships and present offers and services to potential clients
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in revenue management and hospitality.
    • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate revenue performance and forecasts to senior management

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
    • 1-2 years of experience in the hospitality industry preferred
    • Creative and independent thinker who can produce new ideas and concepts
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to analyze independently and determine whether a company is effectively marketing itself across electronic distribution channels
    • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
    • Familiarity with online distribution channels (Airbnb, VRBO, , Expedia, etc.)
    • Excellent communication skills
