    The client is a leading multinational construction company based in Makati.

    Job Description

    Business Partnering

    • Work closely with the Project Managers to drive project performance and ensure that high quality financial decisions are made
    • Provide objective financial advice and opinions that positively impact the future of the project and associated plan
    • Challenge spend plans and take a proactive role in looking for opportunities to deliver services more efficiently and effectively
    • Investigate opportunities as well as high risk and material financial issues, or problem areas, on the projects. Develop and propose solutions and options to resolve / progress concerns to a satisfactory outcome
    • Support the Project Managers in assuming financial accountability by providing local coaching and training to improve financial confidence and competence across the Business Units
    • Work closely with the Commercial Team to provide forward looking insight and challenge, adding demonstrable value through delivering business insight

    Project Financial Advice and Control

    • Review financial performance information and plans, (prepared by the Project Manager) - including the Financial Plan, Budget and Forecast, to ensure they are robust and accurately reflect key project issues
    • Ensure good cost control and cost management behaviour on projects. Promote good financial disciplines, and risk management processes
    • Ensure a robust and effective internal control framework and compliance environment exists across the project and addresses risk management processes
    • Ensure accounting processes on projects (billing, management of revenue and capitalisation of projects) are disciplined and effective
    • Oversee tax reporting, payroll and transactional processing (AP, AR, Intercompany, Cash Management etc) to ensure full local compliance

    Oracle Adoption and Implementation

    • Become an ambassador to encourage the adoption and use of Oracle ERP. Work with the Oracle Support Centre and the Group and International functions to ensure seamless implementation.

    The Successful Applicant

    • Completed a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
    • CPA required.
    • At least 8+ years of experience in finance and accounting with multinational companies.
    • Prior experience in implementing the use of Oracle ERP system and change management.
    • Prior experience working with a multinational construction company or international stakeholders is an advantage.
