- Monitor security alerts and incidents and provide real-time response and mitigation
- Perform analysis of log files, evidence, and other information to determine best methods for identifying the perpetrator(s) of a network intrusion
- Recommend system improvements and optimizations to prevent future incidents
- Collaborate with team members to enhance security protocols and improve incident response strategies
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a SOC Analyst role or similar
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Experience with security systems and tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
