    The Remote Accountant (TRA) is an innovative BPO in the Philippines that specialises in connecting great people with great Australian Businesses.

    We have an Australian-based client who is looking to grow its current offshore team. The client is a boutique accounting firm that provides multi-disciplinary accounting services to a wide range of clients across multiple industries. They provide a great opportunity for team members to advance their knowledge and skills.

    They are looking for a highly skilled Bookkeeper who has excellent communication skills and is looking for a long-term career in accounting and bookkeeping.

    This role is 100% remote (work-from-home).

    Minimum Experience:

    • You must have 3 years minimum proven work experience as a bookkeeper with an Australian accounting or bookkeeping firm.

    The role includes:

    • Bank reconciliations
    • Accounts Receivable / Payable
    • Preparation of Business Activity Statements / Installment Activity Statements
    • Payroll processing STP and PAYG & Superannuation reconciliation
    • Month-end functions including reporting and resolving account discrepancies

    Other Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a similar discipline
    • Proficiency in IFS and Employment Hero is a must
    • Proficiency in other software such as Dext, Xero, FYI doc and Pagero is a plus
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) is a must
    • Must be highly organised and detail-oriented
    • Must be a team player and eager to learn

    System Requirements:

    • Stable internet connection (at least 80 MBPS)

    Work Setup and Schedule:

    • Full-time
    • Day Shift (8 Hours)
    • Fixed Saturday and Sunday off
    • Remote/Work-from-home
    • A separate room to undertake work is required
    • Must not be disturbed by electronic devices during work hours
