About Our Client

The client is a leading international digital bank who successfully built their Shared Services Center in the Philippines.

Job Description

• Design and develop and support application and database components like stored procedures and ETL as per specification from branch users and regulatory authorities. Mandatory technical skills needed: (SQL server, T-SQL, SSIS) and support installation and upgrade/patching and troubleshooting of Java and Tomcat based web applications.
• Ensure deliverables meet business requirements
• Should understand banking regulatory reporting rules and regulations, Strong analytical skills, Ability to work effectively in a team environment to meet tight deadline.
• Ensure all support and project activities are complying to the quality assurance, audit specification, internal controls, and standards.
• Provide up- to- date and accurate relevant documentation of changes, fixes, upgrades, enhancements of supported applications and implementation procedures in accordance to established standards.
• Coach members of squad and build adequate technical capability to support operation of BAU processes and new development

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 6 years of application development experience in respective platform with an overall software engineering experience of 7 to 12 years
• Proven experience in the following areas:

1. Design codes framework
2. Write efficient codes with minimal technical debt
3. Write effective unit and integration tests

• Good communication skills & able to work with minimal supervision
• Continuously resolving a minor or major of technical requests, inquiries, bug fixesand complaints
• Extensive knowledge on SQL Server (SQL, T-SQL, SSIS), Java, Apache Tomcat, TFS (Team Foundation Server), GitHub, Azure Dev Ops, IIS, certificates installation
