- Accurately code inpatient medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Review medical documentation to identify the correct diagnostic and procedural codes
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies
- Maintain detailed records and adhere to coding guidelines and regulations
- Provide regular reports on coding productivity and quality metrics
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with coding changes and best practices
- Must be a bachelor's degree graduate of any medical allied courses
- Must have an active medical coding certification: Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), OR Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC)
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in inpatient medical coding
