Financial Reporting
Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, budgets, etc.).
Verify accounting records to ensure accuracy and timeliness during month-end and year-end closings.

Analyze variances and provide recommendations.
Accounting Operations
Manage accounts payable processing.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

AP processing
Automation in inventory reconciliation actual versus records
Use of AI in accounting operations

Tax Compliance following areas:
Oversee tax compliance monthly, quarterly and annually, particularly on the following areas:
EWT reconciliation versus quarterly and annual alpha list of suppliers vs. AFS
CWT reconciliation vs. SAWT vs. Sales Revenue vs. AFS
WTW reconciliation per employee versus 1604C, annual alpha list and AFS d. Business permit prepare gross receipts for the year for renewal of business permits
Support tax planning and compliance activities throughout the fiscal year
Make recommendations for improvement in tax compliances to ensure correctness, accuracy and timeliness of tax reporting.
Represent the company during tax audit with BIR.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (tax laws, labor laws, etc.)
Identify and mitigate financial risks
Implement and maintain internal controls
Team Management
Supervise and lead the accounting team
Provide training and guidance to team members
Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals
Others
Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors during audits to ensure timely completion and compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with other departments, customers and suppliers to ensure alignment and proper implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Coordinate with outsourced service providers for assigned projects as needed.
Perform other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Accounting Manager or senior management.

Job Qualifications

A graduate of BS Accountancy
Must be a Certified Public Accountant
At least 5 years of solid experience in end-to-end accounting to include AP, AR, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Cost Management, Financial Reporting, Internal Audit and Tax Compliances (i.e. BIR, LGU, SEC, etc.)
Highly flexible, organized and can withstand pressure
Ability to quickly adjust to new work environments
Able to understand and effectively communicate with different levels in the organization
Actual experience in handling BIR Letter of Authority (LOA) and BIR examiners is an advantage.
Experience in Internal Audit as well as certification in Lean Sigma, PMP and ISO 9001:2015 (QMS) is an advantage

Experience in both manual accounting system and computerized accounting system such as SAP and other CAS-ready accounting system is an advantage 10.

Experience in manufacturing and retail inventory cost management as well as warehouse management is an advantage.

Advanced to expert level skills in Excel (i.e. Sumif, Vlookup, Xlookup, Pivot, etc. and knowledgeable in other Microsoft applications such as Word, Powerpoint, etc.
