Job summary
Conduct and participate in physical inventory counts cycle counts and surprise accounts across warehouses depots and affiliated locations ensure proper cut off procedures for inventory movements during physical counts validate inventory quantities locations and conditions against system records perform regular reconciliation of physical inventory in the accounting system investigate inventory variances shortages overages discrepancies prepare variance analysis report prepare recommend inventory adjustments write offs reclassification subject to management approval monitor aging slow moving obsolete damaged stocks coordinate with management for appropriate accounting treatment ensure compliance company policies accounting procedures internal control standards identify gaps recommend process improvements strengthen controls coordination ware house operations account perform other task that maybe assigned from time to time performs cross functional duties may be assigned immediate superior attainement department objectives adheres company rules regulations QEHS Policy standard operating procedures
