    Job Description

    As the HR Business Partner Manager (HR Country Leader), you will lead disciplined program execution, strengthen the Emapta partnership, and ensure the Manila team operates as a fully integrated extension of the global organization. This role has direct impact on operational effectiveness, employee engagement, culture, service delivery, and enterprise performance.

    Shift: Night shift, weekends off

    Work setup: Hybrid (Megatower, Ortigas)

    The Qualifications We Seek

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a business-related field

    Experience

    • 3+ years of relevant work experience
    • Minimum of 8 years of human resources experience
    • At least 10 years of experience in the BPO industry
    • Experience working with US or global organizations in cross-functional environments

    Certifications

    • Preferred: SHRM-CP or PHR

    Technical & Professional Skills

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
    • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
    • Demonstrated track record of leading end-to-end HR programs in cross-functional, global organizations, including performance management, employee engagement, strategic workforce planning, and site operations governance

    Required Competencies

    • Translate enterprise strategy into structured execution plans aligned to KPIs, resources, and business priorities.
    • Align teams to mission and performance expectations through strong communication and engagement leadership.
    • Own SLA/KPI governance, track metrics, escalate risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Build organizational capability through succession planning, workforce optimization, and inclusive talent development.

    Your Daily Tasks

    Partnership & Site Leadership

    • Oversee daily coordination with Emapta (HR, IT, facilities, service delivery) to ensure seamless operations aligned with SLAs and KPIs.
    • Represent the global brand on-site, reinforcing culture, governance, and performance standards.
    • Lead governance reviews and leadership updates covering staffing, risks, trends, and operational gaps.
    • Maintain strong on-site leadership presence to coach managers, remove barriers, and escalate critical issues.

    Strategic Alignment & Operational Integration

    • Implement a "One Team" operating model across Manila-supported functions.
    • Translate enterprise strategy into quarterly execution plans with clear ownership and measurable outcomes.
    • Align SLAs, SOPs, workflows, and resource planning with global stakeholders to ensure continuity and scalability.

    HR Leadership & Employee Experience

    • Align global and local HR policies, compliance standards, and escalation protocols.
    • Serve as primary escalation partner for employee and manager concerns hour turnaround).
    • Oversee ER cases and ensure disciplined HR lifecycle execution (onboarding, performance, merit, promotions, compensation).
    • Drive employee listening initiatives and implement actionable engagement plans.

    Performance, Governance & Continuous Improvement

    • Lead monthly SLA/KPI reviews and proactively address performance gaps.
    • Own SOP governance, risk management, and quarterly compliance audits.
    • Conduct root-cause analysis and implement measurable improvement initiatives.

    Talent Development & Workforce Planning

    • Develop succession pipelines and leadership readiness (ready-now/ready-later).
    • Partner on workforce forecasting, hiring plans, and seat utilization.
    • Strengthen resiliency through cross-training and structured development pathways.

    Culture, Engagement & Change Leadership

    • Lead culture and recognition initiatives aligned with company values.
    • Monitor engagement metrics and execute action plans within defined timelines.
    • Drive change management and cascade global updates into clear local execution plans.

    Data & Strategic HR Support

    • Leverage workforce metrics and trends to inform HR strategy and policy decisions.
    • Support global onboarding initiatives and deliver leadership-facing insights.
