QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must be a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management or any related field.
- At least 1-2 years
years experience of general accounting, with exposure in Procure to Pay process, especially Accounts Payable and Expanded Withholding Taxes - Preferably knowledgeable on both US and local GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proficient in Financial System or Office Application Software
- Excellent in planning and organizing skills
- Good oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, time, and records management
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and have good time management skills
- Willing to work hybrid setup in BGC, Taguig City
JOB SUMMARY – SCOPE OF WORK:
- Preparation of Tax Entries for approval by the Finance Manager.
- Coordination with AP - Shared Service team on accurate calculation and posting of withholding tax, as needed.
- Assistance in the preparation of documents requested for the preparation of tax returns, financial statements and other documents.
- eFiling and Payment System (Efps online payment processing).
- Preparation of APFX and Forex Documents for foreign vendor payments and assistance in Intercompany payments/Preparation of extension letter.
- Monitoring and releasing of cheques/sending email of available cheque to vendors and colleagues.
- Effective file management for vendor invoices/Official Receipts.
- To take responsibility for the day-to-day task required/other Ad hoc AP activities, e.g. confirmation of payment, nature of accounts, manual preparation of BIR 2307, etc.
- Address vendor concerns and provide resolutions.
- Ability to perform account reconciliation, analysis and recommend needed resolution for AP-related GL accounts.
