Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end cloud architecture solutions across infrastructure, platform, and application layers.
- Define cloud architecture frameworks, standards, and best practices aligned with enterprise strategy.
- Lead architecture design for cloud-native, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
- Evaluate business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions.
- Provide architectural governance, design reviews, and technical guidance to engineering teams.
- Architect secure, highly available, and resilient cloud environments.
- Develop cloud migration and modernization strategies for on-premise workloads.
- Design disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity architectures.
- Establish cloud security, identity management, and compliance frameworks.
- Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency through architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including DevOps, Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams.
- Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and recommend innovation opportunities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture or Solution Architecture
Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform:
AWS
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, resiliency, and fault tolerance.
- Strong knowledge of networking, IAM, security architecture, and cloud governance.
- Experience designing hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or similar).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Cloud Architect certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent).
- Experience with enterprise cloud migration programs.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD architecture.
- Experience with microservices and cloud-native application design.
Additional Requirements:
- Open to Project based employment (initial 12 months w/ possibility of extension or absorption)
- Amenable to 2-3 days Onsite in Makati on regular shift
