FILINVEST COMPANY: CORPORATE TECHNOLOGIES, INC.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Accounting Associate is responsible in performing accounting, taxation, treasury, and bookkeeping functions such as invoice processing, filing of tax returns, bank reconciliation, issuance of billing to clients, assist and prepare reports for regular month-end closing of books of accounts, journalizing, and assisting in BIR, SEC, LGUs and other government agencies reportorial compliance.

PETTY CASH & ADVANCES

Ensure that petty cash fund/s are properly accounted & replenished.

Process replenishment of PCF/s & record all the expense from the PCF with corresponding valid receipts

Ensure that all cash advances are properly liquidated by the concerned party

Process the liquidation of these cash advances & record all the expense from the Cash Advances with corresponding valid receipts

PAYABLES, PAYMENTS, & EXPENSES

Manage all payments & expenses of the company

Process payment of invoices & recording all payments

Review all payments & expenses, including purchase orders, rentals, loans, interests, payroll & other invoices

Respond to queries from suppliers, customers & staff

FINANCIAL REPORTING

Ensure that expenses are properly recorded in the accounting books and accounting system

Maintain reconciling monthly financial reports such as Accruals Monitoring, PPE Lapsing, Prepayment Amortization & Cash Advances Monitoring.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing of books pertaining to expenses and payables

OTHERS

Ensure that all payments have proper withholding & correct rates are used by the nature of expenses

Compile accounts payable and check voucher on a monthly basis

Documentation of all significant contracts with suppliers

Assist in identifying the bank debits in the processing of bank reconciliation

Performance of other administrative duties as may be required by the supervisor.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & SKILLS: List down specific skills, knowledge & abilities required by the job.

Good in oral & communication skills
With 1-2 years experience in Accounting & Bookkeeping
Understanding & familiarity with finance regulations, accounting standards, & government compliance
Strong mathematical & analytical skills
H&s-on experience with MS Office (e.g. MS Excel)
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.

EDUCATION, TRAININGS, LICENSES REQUIRED:

A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
