As an international company, we are looking for a Procurement Engineer- AU/NZ Experience based in Makati City, Manila Philippines.

The Procurement Engineer is responsible for supporting procurement activities for solar farm and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects across Australia and New Zealand.

Based in the Philippines and reporting to the Procurement Manager (AU/NZ), this role assists with procurement of civil, mechanical, and electrical infrastructure, ensuring quality, compliance, and value for money.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Business or related field
3+ years' experience in a procurement or supply chain role, ideally within construction or renewable energy
Experience issuing and managing RFQs, purchase orders, and basic supplier agreements
Understanding of procurement documentation, technical specifications, and construction drawings
Experience with ERP or procurement systems
Strong written and verbal English communication skills

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Procurement Execution
Issue RFQs and coordinate receipt of supplier quotations.
Assist in evaluating technical and commercial aspects of bids.
Support negotiations on pricing, lead times, and terms.
Assist in drafting and issuing purchase orders.
Track order status and escalate delays or discrepancies.

Supplier Coordination
Coordinate communication with suppliers to clarify specs and resolve queries.
Assist with supplier meetings, follow-up actions, and record keeping.
Support supplier performance monitoring

Documentation & Systems
Maintain accurate procurement records and logs.
Enter and track data in ERP systems.
Ensure documents are filed per internal QA processes.

Project Alignment
Liaise with engineering and project teams to confirm material requirements.
Ensure procurement activities align with construction timelines.
Escalate issues to the Procurement Manager for resolution.

Health & Safety
Model the expected Health, Safety and Environment behaviours for INTEC Energy Solutions.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation at all times for self and your team.

Proactively identify and eliminate hazards and contribute to the work environment to ensure safety measures are in place, compliant and operational.

Keep yourself safe and follow all processes in the INTEC Energy Solutions H&S system, providing feedback on any improvements that can be made.

Continuous improvement

Strong focus on identifying and suggesting ways to improve practices and processes that are hampering the smooth operation of the day to day running of the project.

Support the development of innovative strategies to ensure operational efficiencies, processes and practices.
Proactively seek opportunities to save unnecessary costs to the project (without compromising quality).
Contribute to the project review process, ensuring problems identified and possible solutions developed and feedback to operations team.
