A Functional Dynamics 365 Consultant is expected to:

Position Accountabilities

Requirements Gathering and Solution Design
Work with clients and stakeholders to comprehend business processes, objectives, and requirements. Design and configure Dynamics 365 modules based on business needs, aligning with industry best practices.
Implementation and Business Process Optimization
Lead and contribute to the implementation of Dynamics 365 solutions, including customization, configuration, and data migration. Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to streamline operations and maximize Dynamics 365 benefits.

Integration and Testing

Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement integrations with other systems, ensuring seamless data flow throughout the organization.
Training, Support, and Maintenance

Conduct user training sessions, create training materials, and provide ongoing support to end-users, ensuring the continued effectiveness of Dynamics 365 solutions.

Business Leadership and Collaboration

Make decisions considering the company's best interests, communicate effectively with senior management, peers, and staff, and seek creative solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders.

Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and systems. Request feedback from other departments and managers to address specific system needs and concerns. Develop and maintain Dynamics 365 solutions for long-term system needs.

Promote a culture of accountability and transparency, fostering open communication and reporting of issues and concerns. Hold department managers accountable for system testing and implementation.
Project Delivery Time, Requirements Accuracy, and Solution Effectiveness
Ensure timely delivery of Dynamics 365 projects within specified deadlines. Evaluate the accuracy of gathered and translated business requirements. Monitor the effectiveness of Dynamics 365 solutions in improving business processes.

Reporting

Regularly prepare and share Dynamics 365 reports, including user adoption rate and training effectiveness rate, with department heads and managers.

Measure the Return on Investment (ROI) of Dynamics 365 projects.

Compatibility

Maintain positive relations with other departments, staff, contractors, and stakeholders, regardless of their level within the business.

What it takes to be part of our team:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Functional Consultant with a focus on implementing Dynamics 365 solutions.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications, such as Dynamics 365 Fundamentals or specific module certifications, are highly desirable.

Exceptional modelling skills are a must have of which initially Excel will form the core; Power BI experience will be seen as advantageous.

An affinity for interpreting numerical data supported by excellent written & verbal communication skills to deliver insight in a meaningful way to various stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex business processes and design effective solutions.
A high level of competence in Office applications and overall high level of computer literacy.

Relationship management skills with the ability to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and a desire to work in a proactive team (must be a team player).

Ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively, meeting project deadlines and milestones.
A customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering solutions that align with client needs and expectations.
Flexibility in hours worked to achieve operational targets.
A current driver's licence.
