What can you tell your friends when they ask what you do?

You lead the end-to-end design strategy and execution for the Go Rewards digital experience. You build DAVI's proprietary Design System, craft "wow"-level digital experiences from scratch, and translate product strategy into pixel-perfect execution. You act as the bridge between product vision and engineering, ensuring DAVI's digital experience is a true competitive differentiator—independent of backend or vendor constraints.

Responsibilities – How will you do this?

1. Strategic & Architectural Leadership

• Own, build, document, and govern DAVI's Design System, including components, typography, iconography, and interaction patterns, to ensure consistency and speed across all digital products.
• Translate complex coalition loyalty mechanics into intuitive, delightful user journeys, while actively challenging technical constraints to advocate for the best user experience.
• Partner closely with the Head of Data, Product & Strategy and Product Managers to visualize the product roadmap and convert abstract concepts into high-fidelity prototypes for stakeholder alignment.

2. Execution & Design Delivery

• Execute high-quality UI designs and interaction flows for core digital products, including mobile web and app experiences.
• Create interactive, high-fidelity prototypes that demonstrate "wow" moments and micro-interactions to stakeholders and developers.
• Produce UX artifacts such as user flows, journey maps, and information architecture diagrams to align teams on logic and structure.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and implemented with pixel-perfect accuracy.

3. User Research & Data-Driven Design

• Lead discovery for new features through user interviews, surveys, and competitive audits before design execution.
• Conduct lean usability testing to validate flows prior to development.
• Use data (funnel drop-offs, heatmaps, performance metrics) to justify design decisions and improvements.

4. Governance & Quality Control

• Act as the Design Quality Gatekeeper, conducting Design QA and providing final sign-off on UI/UX implementation before release.
• Own governance of the DAVI Design System, approving or rejecting new components to maintain system integrity.
• Define research methodologies and validate product assumptions, with authority to challenge product requirements when user data proves them ineffective.
• Select and manage the design tooling and technology stack.

To be successful, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or a related field
• 5–7 years of UI/UX Product Design experience for consumer-facing digital products
• Strong preference for candidates with:
• Digital agency experience handling global clients or
• Experience in mature product/tech environments with proven Design System ownership
• A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UI/UX work, from research and insights to wireframes and pixel-perfect visual design
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments alongside engineering teams
• Advanced mastery of Figma (auto-layout, variables, component properties) — non-negotiable
• Proficiency in advanced prototyping tools for micro-interactions

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience in O2O, e-commerce, or loyalty programs
• Frontend development background (HTML/CSS)
• UX certifications (NN/g UX Master Certification, HFI CUA)
• Agile or Design Sprint facilitation certifications
• Training in Gamification or Behavioral Design
