    Job Description

    Position Title: Income Auditor

    Department: Finance & Accounting

    Reports To: Chief Accountant

    Location: Seda Bonifacio Global City (BGC)

    Job Summary

    The Income Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all hotel revenue transactions at Seda BGC. This role verifies daily revenues from all operating departments, ensures compliance with internal controls and hotel policies, and provides accurate financial reports to support management decision-making.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    Revenue Audit & Verification

    • Audit and reconcile daily revenues from Front Office, Food & Beverage, and other operating departments.
    • Verify room revenue, POS postings, allowances, discounts, voids, and adjustments.
    • Ensure all revenues are properly recorded, posted, and supported with valid documentation.

    Cash, Credit & POS Controls

    • Review and reconcile cashier reports, cash drops, credit card settlements, and city ledger transactions.
    • Monitor cashier floats, cash handling procedures, and discrepancies.
    • Ensure proper control over POS and PMS transactions and system interfaces.

    Reports & Documentation

    • Prepare daily revenue reports, summaries, and journal entries.
    • Submit accurate and timely financial reports to the Finance Manager and Management.
    • Maintain organized and complete audit files for reference and compliance.

    Compliance & Internal Control

    • Ensure adherence to hotel policies, accounting standards, and internal control procedures.
    • Identify revenue discrepancies, variances, or irregularities and report findings promptly.
    • Assist during internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.

    Coordination & Support

    • Coordinate with Front Office, F&B, and other departments to resolve revenue discrepancies.
    • Provide guidance to operational departments on revenue-related procedures and compliance.
    • Support month-end closing and financial reporting processes.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
    • At least 1–3 years of experience in hotel income auditing or hospitality accounting.
    • Strong knowledge of hotel PMS, Sun System and POS systems.
    • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
    • Integrity, confidentiality, and accuracy in handling financial information.
    • Willing to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
