    Chief Executive Officer (CEO), VinFast Philippines

    VinFast is a leading Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, committed to sustainable mobility and innovation.

    As part of Vingroup, VinFast has rapidly expanded globally, including a strong presence in the Philippines where it offers a range of affordable EVs such as the VF 3, VF 5, VF 7, and VF 9.

    The company has established dealerships, joined the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI), and introduced customer-friendly policies like battery subscription programs to make EVs accessible.

    VinFast Philippines aims to drive the transition to green transportation in the region, with a focus on quality, technology, and customer satisfaction.


    The CEO of VinFast Philippines will be responsible for leading the company's operations, growth, and strategic direction in the Philippine market.

    Reporting to the regional leadership, this executive role involves overseeing all aspects of the business, including sales, marketing, partnerships, and compliance.

    The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with deep expertise in the automotive sector, particularly EVs, and a proven track record of driving market expansion in Southeast Asia.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Leadership:

    Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to achieve revenue targets, market share growth, and long-term sustainability goals in the Philippines.

    Align local operations with VinFast's global vision for electric mobility.

    Market Expansion:
    Identify opportunities for product launches, dealership network growth, and customer engagement initiatives. Oversee the introduction of new EV models and services tailored to the Philippine market.

    Operational Oversight:
    Manage day-to-day operations, including supply chain, manufacturing partnerships (if applicable), after-sales service, and customer support. Ensure efficient resource allocation and operational excellence.

    Financial Management:
    Drive financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, profitability, and customer retention.

    Team Building and Development:
    Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability while attracting top talent in the automotive industry.

    Stakeholder Relations:
    Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, industry associations (e.g., CAMPI), dealers, suppliers, and customers. Ensure compliance with local regulations, including environmental and automotive standards.

    Innovation and Sustainability:

    Promote VinFast's commitment to green technology by advancing EV adoption, battery management programs, and sustainable practices in the Philippines.


    Risk Management:
    Identify and mitigate business risks, including market competition, economic fluctuations, and supply chain disruptions.

    Qualifications

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

    Experience:

    Minimum 15 years of senior leadership experience in the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in a CEO or equivalent role.

    Proven success in EV or mobility sectors, ideally in Southeast Asia or emerging markets.

    Knowledge:
    Deep understanding of the Philippine automotive market, EV ecosystem, regulatory environment, and consumer trends. Familiarity with battery technology, subscription models, and sustainable manufacturing.


    Skills:

    • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire teams and negotiate partnerships.
    • Proficiency in financial analysis, marketing, and operations management.
    • Fluency in English; knowledge of Filipino and Vietnamese is a plus.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on innovation.
