    Profile Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or related roles, with a proven track record of boosting organic search performance and improving rankings.
    • Proficient with SEO and analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs.
    • Solid understanding of information architecture (this is a must-have).
    • Experience working with WordPress and Squarespace platforms.
    • Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and best practices across on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills — able to interpret data, spot trends, and find optimization opportunities.
    • Effective communicator who works well with cross-functional teams and can explain SEO recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
    • Must be able to add and create blog posts.
    • Technical SEO skills, including using schema markup.
    • Able to support clients with organic SEO, local SEO, and AI-driven SEO strategies (using tools like SEMrush).

    Core responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify relevant search terms with high search volume and low competition, while analyzing trends and user behavior to inform both content strategy and website design (information architecture).
    • Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and URLs to boost organic search visibility, ensuring the site's structure, navigation, and internal linking are user-friendly and search engine optimized.
    • Create high-quality, SEO-friendly content aligned with target keywords and user intent, and regularly update existing content to improve search rankings and increase user engagement.
    • Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting crawlability, indexing, and site speed, collaborating closely with web developers to implement necessary improvements.
    • Enhance website performance by optimizing server response times and mobile responsiveness to deliver a superior user experience and improve search engine rankings.
    • Develop and execute effective link-building strategies to acquire authoritative backlinks, monitor backlink profiles, and conduct outreach to increase brand visibility and drive organic traffic.
    • Set up Google Tag Manager to facilitate accurate tracking and measurement of Google Analytics data, conversions, and other key metrics.
    • Optimize existing content to ensure it sounds natural, engaging, and relatable. Avoid robotic or overly polished language often associated with heavy AI generation. The aim is to create content that reads like a genuine conversation—clear, down-to-earth, and easy for anyone to enjoy and engage with, rather than stiff or overly formal.
