ABOUT THE JOB
As Accounting Staff, you will perform a variety of general accounting support tasks in the Accounting Department including:
· Updating and maintaining accounting journals, ledgers, and other records detailing financial business transactions.
· Ensuring accurate billing in the issuance of invoices, monitoring aging of receivables, handling collections, responding to customer inquiries, and following up on overdue payments.
· Processing vendor invoices and payments, performing three-way matching, monitoring aging of payables to ensure timely payments, and responding to inquiries from vendors.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
As a candidate, you must:
· Possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or any equivalent business program.
· Be knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel and Word.
· Have good written and verbal communication skills.
· Possess strong attention to detail.
· Be proactive, have initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Having experience in payroll preparation, general ledgers, managing accounts receivables/accounts payables, and other accounting functions is an advantage.
