    • Review outpatient medical records and assign appropriate ICD -10 CM, CPT and HCPS Level II codes.
    • Ensure compliance with official coding guidelines and payer requirements.
    • Abstract and input coded data into electronic health record (EHR) and billing systems.
    • Maintain productivity and quality standards as defined by the department.
    • Stay current with updates to coding regulations and reimbursement changes.
    • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
