    Role Description

    We're hiring a Remote Design Coordination Manager (Architect preferred) based in the Philippines to help drive design delivery across our projects in Ireland. You'll coordinate consultants, manage design information flow, and resolve design issues quickly and clearly, supporting a smooth path from design to construction.

    Key Responsibilities

    Design coordination & issue resolution

    • Coordinate architectural, structural, civil, MEP and specialist inputs to ensure a buildable, coordinated design
    • Identify gaps/clashes/constructability issues early and drive solutions with consultants and engineers

    Value engineering support

    • Propose and assess design alternatives that protect design intent while improving cost/buildability
    • Collaborate closely with engineering and commercial teams on options and impacts

    Information management

    • Manage RFIs, design queries, submittals and design registers (track, chase, close-out)
    • Maintain document control discipline: correct revisions, clear status, clean communication trails

    Meetings & stakeholder management

    • Attend and contribute to design meetings via Teams, circulate minutes/actions, and ensure follow-through
    • Communicate clearly with internal leadership and external consultants to keep programmes on track

    Delivery focus

    • Support the team in meeting design deadlines aligned to procurement and construction programmes

    Qualifications

    • Degree-qualified in Architecture (strongly preferred). Structural engineering background may be considered with proven design coordination leadership.
    • Significant experience in design delivery/coordination (ideally across multi-unit residential / apartments / mixed-use; not small one-off sites)
    • Excellent English communication (written + spoken) and confidence running calls, writing minutes, and pushing actions to closure
    • Strong technical knowledge: detailing, buildability, coordination, and design risk awareness
    • Hands-on experience with RFIs, submittals, consultant coordination, design registers
    • Comfortable working remotely with a high level of ownership and accountability

    Preferred / Nice-to-have

    • Experience with EU/UK/Ireland-based projects (standards, design deliverables, consultant workflows)
    • Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD/Revit (and/or Navisworks), Bluebeam/markup tools, and strong MS Office (especially Excel)
    • Experience working with contractor teams during pre-construction and live construction phases
