    Job Position: Financial Coordinator
    Location:
    Remote (PST Timezone)

    Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
    (Note: The ideal working hours in your time zone do not necessarily require a full 40-hour overlap with PST. We recommend 1-5 hours per week for internal team meetings, preferably in the evening PST.)

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a dedicated Financial Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial behind-the-scenes role in maintaining and updating the financial models we build for our clients. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in finance and the ability to work independently within a dynamic team setting. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our financial operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Monthly Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of the P&L and bank statements with the annual model, including conducting variance analysis to compare budget versus actuals.
    • Weekly Cash Flow Management: Collaborate with the AP/AR point person to reconcile upcoming payments for the next 1-4 weeks and accurately enter them into the financial system.
    • Inventory Reconciliation: Update the actual inventory for our clients on a weekly/monthly basis in our inventory forecast sheet, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Inventory Re-forecasting: Adjust inventory purchase schedules and COGS outlay following bi-weekly revenue re-forecasts, done in collaboration with the head of finance and clients.
    • Financial Model Updates: Update existing financial models with added costs in predefined categories, ensuring continuous accuracy and relevance of financial data.

    Requirements:

    • Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and QuickBooks Online (QBO) is essential.
    • Ability to work remotely with the flexibility to attend team meetings during the evening PST.
    • 2-5 years of experience in corporate finance, with a preference for those who have a background in eCommerce.
    • Familiarity with Shopify and Amazon Seller platforms is a plus.

    • Demonstrated experience in financial modeling and analysis within the eCommerce sector.
