Fagokho Corporation is the parent company of several multinational restaurant brands, including Ramen Nagi, Nagi Izakaya, Hakata Ton-ichi, Tendon Akimitsu, Fatfook, and other Japanese and Asian dining concepts.
Job Summary
The Purchasing Assistant supports procurement operations by sourcing suppliers, processing purchasing documents, coordinating deliveries, and monitoring inventory levels. This is a project-based employment and may require field work as needed to support procurement and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Source suppliers and prepare canvassing procedures
- Maintain harmonious working relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Process purchasing documents and coordinate regularly with Head Office and stores on request status
- Perform warehouse inventory checks and ensure timely reordering
- Maintain supplier database and purchasing files
- Monitor purchase orders, shipments, and delivery status
- Inspect received items for quality and quantity compliance
- Coordinate with suppliers on delivery schedules based on approved purchase orders
- Ensure purchase orders align with bill of materials and approved budgets
- Review and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies, if any
- Assist in preparing weekly order status reports
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
- Graduate of Industrial Engineering or any related course
- Willing to do field work as needed and report to Head Office in Makati
- Available to start ASAP
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
