An Accounting Officer is in charge of upholding financial procedures and ensuring financial compliance by preparing a company's reports and statements. These professionals manage the general ledger, verify the accuracy of financial statements, and prepare reports that help senior management make informed decisions about future projects and budget planning. They are also responsible for tracking and recording all company transactions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepared and review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance
- Checking of Payroll report
- Enter accounting related information into business logs
- Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy
- Organize and update financial records
- Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
- Perform monthly bank settlements
- Prepare documentation for external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
- At least two years' experience in accounting or a related field
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to read and analyze financial reports
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
