DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. Team Leadership & Development:

Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of sales staff to achieve sales goals and exceed customer expectations.

Provide ongoing coaching and training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service excellence.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and set individual and team targets.

Promote a positive work environment and foster teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement.

B.Sales & Customer Service:

Drive sales targets and lead by example in achieving sales goals.

Assist customers in selecting the right furniture solutions to meet their needs, providing knowledgeable product recommendations.

Resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.

C.Store Operations:

Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.

Maintain store organization, ensuring that furniture are visually appealing

Monitor and manage store inventory as well as communicating with the factory for new additional/ needed shop display/ stocks.

D. Visual Merchandising:

Work with the visual merchandising team to ensure the showroom is organized, visually appealing, and properly reflects current promotions and seasonal trends.

Ensure the proper display of furniture items to maximize product exposure and sales.

E.Marketing & Promotions:

Collaborate with the marketing team to promote in-store events, sales, and promotions to drive traffic and increase conversions.

Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to ensure the store remains competitive and aligned with customer expectations.

A.Other Duties:

Assist President on trade shows.

Ensure the safety and security of store and staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any related field.

Experience:Proven leadership experience in managing a retail sales team within the furniture industry.

Leadership experience in driving sales and managing teams in a furniture retail environment.

Skills:Strong and excellent organizational, negotiation, communication skills and multitasking abilities. Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams. Ability to analyze sales data and adjust strategies to meet business goals. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle various customer interactions professionally. In-depth knowledge of furniture products, materials, and design trends.

Working Conditions:Primarily store-based, meaning store managers must work directly at the store to oversee daily operations, interact with staff, and assist customers.

Salary & Benefits

1% commission on total store sales
Fixed base salary (entry-level rate; designed to be supplemented by high commission earnings)
